Anxiety Curing Depression Anxiety is a form of depression and curing depression is possible with the right medication and/or therapy. The proper treatment is essential in getting the patient back on the road to leading a normal life. There are different forms of depression and only a doctor can diagnose and help you treat your depression. If you think you may have depression and are having one or more symptoms of depression, it is important that you seek help as soon as you can so the depression can be treated before it escalates to a point of harming yourself or someone else. There are many medications for depression and the medications depend on the symptoms and the type of depression you have. Each medication helps with certain symptoms that are associated with depression. It is important that you get the right medication for you and the symptoms you are having. You may have to try several medications before you get the one which will help you and not have side effects. Some medications work well for some but not for others. Anxiety disorder is a vague and sometimes debilitating emotion that is experienced when one anticipates something bad is going to happen or thinks the worst about something. They are anxious that something bad will happen to themselves or someone they know. Most people know they have feelings of anxiety but have no clue as to why it happens to them. There are several types of anxiety and finding out which kind you have and what causes it is the first step to finding the proper treatment for it. GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) affects about four million adult Americans in a years time. It usually begins during childhood but can begin in adulthood. It is more commonly found in women than men. The combination of genetics, brain chemistry, and environmental factors are thought to be the reasons for Anxiety attacks. Some of the different types of anxiety are Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Specific Phobias, Social Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. The symptoms of anxiety are: worry, tension, irritability, Muscle tension, headaches, sweating, trouble concentrating, nausea, tiredness, frequent urination, sleep disorder (trouble falling asleep and staying asleep), trembling, fear of being helpless in certain situations, social speaking and eating fears, and other symptoms, depending on the type of anxiety the person is suffering from. There are medications and help for each type of anxiety depending on the type and the symptoms. The most important thing is to get the anxiety diagnosed as soon as possible and get the proper treatment for they type you are experiencing. There is help, all you have to do is ask for it.
