Depression Forum

There are many forums for depression discussions. If you are suffering from depression, talking about it is one of the best things you can do to ‘self help’ yourself. There are over 23 million people suffering from depression in one form or another so you are not alone. Part of your therapy could be to join some of the forums and see what others have to say about their problems and symptoms. They are suffering from depression too and they can tell you what medications they are taking as well as what symptoms they may be having, etc. It is always fun to meet new people and become cyber friends. Below is a list of some of the depression forums on the internet so feel free to check some or all of them out and see what you can find out! If you have been diagnosed with depression, it is a good idea to find out as much as you can about your type of depression and the forums may just be a good place to start.

Am I Depressed, Causes of Depression, Coping Skills, Depression Medication, Depression Statistics, Depression Treatment, Depression Types, Disability, Rights, Drug Side-Effects, Find a Doctor, Grief and Loss, Related Mental Disorders, Suicide and Self-Injury, Support Groups, True Stories of Depression. These are just some of the interesting subjects you will find on the forums. If you don’t see the subject you are interested, maybe you can start one in the forum.

Just because you have depression is no reason for you to suffer. With the right help from your doctor, and medication and/or therapy, you can control your depression and live the life you deserve. You sure do not want to waste your life living in misery when it can be helped. See your doctor and talk to them about your symptoms and feelings so they can diagnose your problem. If you indeed do have depression, they can decide which medication is best for you and the symptoms you are having. Then go join a forum or two, or three, and see for yourself that you are not alone and you will get a lot of support from those who are also suffering from depression. Depression is nothing to be ashamed of. It is believed that depression is caused from an imbalance in the brain and when there are certain events in your life (loss of a loved one, childbirth, menapause, etc.) they will trigger the onset of depression. Some researchers believe that in women part of the problem is the changes in their hormones. No matter what the reason, depression can be controlled with the proper treatment so check with your doctor so they can get you back up tp par as soon as possible.
