Depression Quiz There is a depression quiz you can take if you think you may be suffering from depression. You are not alone with your depression. Take the quiz and if you suffer from one or more of the symptoms mentioned, take the quiz to your doctor and let them take it from there. *Falling Asleep: I never take more than thirty minutes to fall asleep. I take more than thirty minutes to fall asleep more than half of the time. I take more than sixty minutes to fall asleep more than half of the time. *Sleep During the Night: I do not wake up at night. I wake up at least once a night, but I go back to sleep easily. I wake up more than once a night and cannot go back to sleep for twenty minutes or more. *Waking Up Too Early: I usually wake up no more than thirty minutes before I need to get up. I almost always wake up at least one hour before I need to, but I eventually go back to sleep. I wake up at least one hour before I need to, and can not go back to sleep. *Sleeping Too Much: I sleep no more than seven to eight hours each night without napping in the day. I sleep no more than twelve hours in a twenty four hour period, including naps. I sleep more than twelve hours in a twenty four hour period, including naps. *Feeling Sad: I do not feel sad. I feel sad more than half of the time. I feel sad nearly all of the time. *Decreased or Increased In Appetite: There is no change in my appetite. I eat much less or more than usual. I rarely eat within a twenty four period or I overeat both at mealtime and in between meals. *Decrease or Increase in Weight: My weight has not changed. I have gained or lost two pounds or more in the last two weeks. I have gained or lost five pounds or more in the past two weeks. *Concentration/Decision Making: I have no problems making decisions or concentrating. Most of the time I struggle to concentrate or make decisions. I cannot concentrate enough to read and/or cannot make even minor decisions. *View Myself: I see myself as an equal to others. I believe I cause problems for others. I think about major and minor defects in myself almost all of the time. *Thoughts of Death or Suicide: I do not think of suicide or death. I think of suicide several times a week. I think of suicide several times a day/ or I have made plans to commit suicide. *General Interest: There is no change in my interests in life. I only have interest in a few things that I used to be interested. I have no interest in previous activities or hobbies. *Energy Level: There is no change in my energy level. I have to make an effort to finish my usual activities daily. I cannot carry out my activities because I just don’t have the energy. *Feeling Slowed Down: I think, speak, and move as I normally do. It takes me several seconds to respond to most questions and I think my thinking has slowed. I am often unable to respond to questions without extreme effort. *Feeling Restless: I do not feel restless. I have impulses to move about and I am quite restless..
