Desert Trim Diet Pill Desert Trim is manufactured by Desert Trim Industries in Hackensack, New Jersey. Desert Trim Industries is marketing Desert Trim as “The Maximum Strength Natural Phentermine Alternative.” It does not require a prescription. It is sold over the counter in pharmacies and supermarkets as well as online stores. Desert Trim contains Hoodia. Hoodia is a cactus like plant that is grown by the San Bushmen in South Africa. It has been used for many years as an appetite suppressant. There are only 7 known farmers that grow this plant. It is manufactured by only 2 companies who own the patent. Now since Hoodia is a plant there is no patent on the plant itself but there is a patent on the ingredient P57 which is a compound that fools your brain into thinking you are full even when you aren’t. What I did find difficult in doing research for Desert Trim was that Hoodia was the only ingredient I could find that Hoodia has. I could not find anything on the website about other ingredients. I thought this was odd since people need to know what ingredients are in the product they are buying. They need to know if there are ingredients that are harmful to them. The website does state that the product is 100% natural but doesn’t list what “natural” is. I did email the company to get the list of ingredients besides Hoodia but did not get an answer after 2 days. Another strange sighting was that there was an article on the website stating that the author had to take 1000 milligrams a day to be effective but the author did not cite the article. The author also goes on to say that most products with Hoodia only contain 100 milligrams but Desert Trim claims that it contains 750 milligrams. So who is right? Oh and one more thing I found a bit odd was that the website did list an address but there was no phone number to call the company or even a customer service number. In an article on Desert Trim’s website, it states that it is important to combine taking Desert Trim with a diet that is low in carbohydrates as well as an exercise regimen. The recommended dosage is to take one or two Desert Trim tablets about 30 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach and then again 30 minutes before lunch. Desert Trim Industries cautions consumers not to take if they are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if they have a history of heart problems or high blood pressure.
