Green Tea Diet Pill Green Tea. Sounds a bit odd don’t it? I mean the tea we are use to drinking is definitely not green. But green tea is the latest breakthrough in the world of weight loss. Green tea comes in tea form and pill form. We will be discussing the pill form here. And green tea has other health benefits too besides weight loss, which we will discuss briefly later in the article. Mega T Green Tea is one of the most popular supplements on the market. This green tea capsule comes in the form of 600 mg of green tea extract. As green tea has a minimal amount of processing done to it, this allows it to keep its vital substances called catechin polyphenols. These work alongside other chemicals in the body to raise levels of thermo genesis and fat oxidation, where the body then burns fat. Green tea extract is the substance that contains the catechin polyphenols. These are very beneficial to weight loss as well as your overall health. By taking this pill once or twice a day, you can cut down on those nasty annoying craving and increase your energy and endurance. While it contains caffeine (which is said to help release fatty acids into the blood to be used as energy) it is only about half of the caffeine you would get in coffee. This lower level of caffeine often means that users don’t experience a raised heart rate that often goes with many diet pills. As green tea contains caffeine, many of the side effects associated with caffeine also apply to green tea. These include insomnia, restlessness, irritability and heart palpitations. Excess consumption can lead to either constipation or diarrhea. These side effects should only occur if the user has taken excessive amounts of green tea, and should not be as severe as if caffeine was being taken. People suffering from the following ailments should limit their consumption and use of green tea: weak heart, stomach problems, kidney problems, overactive thyroid and panic/anxiety attacks. Pregnant or nursing mothers should not take green tea at all. Also avoid using this supplement if you are taking drugs such as antacids, antidepressants and prescription painkillers. Green tea is not only well known for its weight loss approach, but it is beneficial to your overall health as well. Green tea has been known to help in the aid of fighting Alzheimer’s, may reduce cholesterol; act as an anti-inflammatory in the body; improve blood vessel function and reduce blood lipids; may protect against cardiovascular disease; and even may be helpful in treating skin conditions such as acne. These antioxidants have also been shown to inhibit the growth of cancers in the early stages. All Text Copyright © Safety2005.org |
