Ephedra was researched for its fat burning properties and research showed that it helped promote fat loss while sparing the muscle tissue. No prescription diet pill had ever been able to product this. In one report it was stated that the Chinese ephedra contained different properties that worked much better than the other species of ephedra in other areas of the world. This may have just been an opinion or a statement made just to sell more Chinese ephedra.
