Buy Ephedra Online
If you want to buy ephedra online you may have trouble finding it in the United States. Ephedra was banned in the United States in October, 2006 because there were too many reports of serious health issues associated with products which contained ephedra and the common thread for them all was ephedra. There were over 800 reports of heart attacks and strokes and some deaths from 1994 to 2003 so the Food and Drug Administration had the Federal court ban the use of ephedra in the United States in 2003. There were some who disagreed with the FDA and did not think ephedra was as dangerous as the FDA said it was so they filed a petition with the court in 2004 to get the ban lifted on ephedra. The court decided that the people were right and that the FDA did not have enough evidence to prove the ephedra was dangerous when taken in small doses. The ban on ephedra was lifted in 2005. The FDA continued to receive reports of strokes and heart attacks when ephedra was taken in small doses as little as 8 mg. There were over 1,000 reports of hospital emergencies and at least 17 deaths from products which contained ephedra from 1997 to 2006. The FDA had some tests conducted of products containing ephedra to determine the amount of ephedra in each dose. The amounts of some was more and some was less ephedra than the amounts listed on the labels of the products. Some of them contained no ephedra at all. The FDA armed themselves with the reports and information they compiled from the tests and filed them with the court. This time the court agreed with the FDA and banned ephedra for the second time.
Most of the products which once contained ephedra have replaced ephedra with another ingredient which is just as good as ephedra but is far less dangerous. Other products that did not replace ephedra have discontinued their products that contained ephedra. One of the replacement ingredients in some of the weight loss pills is Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia is a much sought after weight loss aid and can stand alone without any other ingredients as a weight loss aid. It has helped many lose weight but if you decide to buy it make sure you are getting the real Hoodia and not one of the many fakes that is on the market. The company should be able to prove the Hoodia is real with a proof of authenticity C.I.T.E.S certificate. There are other alternative ingredients which can help weight loss as well as ephedra but do not have the side effects.
