Of ephedra so the FDA had the ephedra banned once again in late 2006. There are again people trying to get the ephedra ban lifted but they may not get the job done this time.

Trimspa has replaced ephedra with Hoodia Gordonii which is an all natural herb which can aid in weightloss without any side effects. Some have reported an energy increase with the Hoodia also. There is no reason someone should have to take a chance with their health when there are other alternatives on the market that are much safer to use. Many of the ephedra based products have already replaced ephedra with another ingredient. Other names for ephedra are Mormon Tea, Squaw Tea, Herbal Ecstasy, Chinese Ephedra, and Epitonin. If you see any of these ingredients on a label do not buy them. Your health is much more important than taking chances just to lose a few pounds or get a burst of energy. Ephedra does not mix with aspirin (willow bark, salicytes,salicylic acid) or caffeine (guarana, kola nut, cocoa extract). They can be lethal when mixed.
