Metabolife With Ephedra

Metabolife was one product with ephedra until ephedra was banned in 2006 in the United states by the Federal court. There are many other products which did contain ephedra but have since replaced ephedra with other herbal ingredients. Some of them are Metabolite, Metabolift, Ripped Fuel, Energy Fuel, Everslender, Diet Fuel, Trimspa, Stacker 2, Stacker 3, Stacker Lite, and many more products which no longer contain ephedra. Some of them have replaced ephedra with Hoodia Gordonii which is in great demand as a weight loss product. It has already helped many people lose weight and has had television exposure on several tv news reports and Oprah. Hoodia Gordonii is reported to work well alone with no help from other ingredients. It has been tested by scientists testing it in both humans and rats. In every case study there was significant weight loss with no side effects and without diet or exercise. Some of the human subjects even reported an energy boost from the Hoodia. It has been stated that large doses of Hoodia are necessary to lose a significant amount of weight. Some people take as much as 750 mg per day and it is said that at least 250 mg per day should be taken in order to lose any weight. The amount needed will differ from one person to another because everyone’s metabolism is different. It may also take a few weeks for some to experience any effects from the Hoodia pills whereas some may experience weight loss right away.

Ephedra was causing too many dangerous side effects and even death in some cases. Many people have already received compensation for their suffering or for the loss of a family member due to ephedra products. Others have filed a lawsuit and are waiting for their day in court. It may not be too late for some to file a lawsuit if they have suffered from a serious illness or the death of a family member because of an ephedra product. It should be discussed with a good lawyer in the area where the client lives. There is a statute of limitations on lawsuits of this nature so time is of essence. The many side effects ephedra products were causing was heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, rapid heart beat, irregular heart beat, insomnia, anxiety, nervousness, tremors, allergies, hives, itching, nausea, vomiting, psychosis, seizures, death, and more. Some products contained ephedra as well as aspirin and caffeine and these ingredients make a lethal combination or at least a life threatening combination. The numbers were just too big for the Food and Drug Administration to ignore. They filed the many reports of injuries and deaths in the Federal court to get the ephedra banned in 2006.
