Child Health
Child health care is a big problem in many parts of the country today. Many people cannot afford the health care insurance that they need in order to give their families the care they need. There are many people who do not have health insurance because their employers do not offer it as an option and they can not afford the individual insurance plans that health insurance companies offer. Some children get partial health insurance help from the government. If the family is below poverty level and there are kids in the household, they can get medical help. However, a lot of health problems and medications are not covered through this program. Then there are some who make a little more money but they cannot afford the cost of health insurance premiums so those family have to suffer. There are others who do not have children at home but do not make much money and cannot afford health insurance so they fall between the cracks and have to suffer also because they can not get any health help. There are people doing without medications, that they need, because there is no money to buy the medications. There are senior citizens who are getting medicare who are only getting a small amount of SS or SSI each month so there is not enough money left for them to buy all of the medications they need. Some of them either do without the medications and suffer or they decide to pay for the medications and go without food. They have no other options. So they have to suffer too.
Our country is supposed to be one of the richest in the country but we have one of the poorest health care systems in the world. There is something terribly wrong with this picture. If the government did not waste so much of the taxpayers money on unnecessary things, there would be enough money to offer every citizen in the United States 100% full coverage insurance. There is no need for this sort of treatment to the people who voted those officials into office. That shows the kind of gratitude they get for being loyal to their government. After you vote for them, they stab you in the back. They are getting the best possible medical treatment available at the citizens expense. There is no reason that every man, woman, and child can not have healthcare if the budget was figured right. Someone needs to figure this all out and explain to the people why some countries that are not near as rich as the U. S. Can offer every citizen in their country healthcare at no cost and the U. S. can’t?
