Health Care Reform
Health care reform is a problem that needs to be solved in the United States. Everyday we hear on the news about insurance companies overcharging people, drug companies, doctors, and hospitals overcharging or double charging people and getting away with it. It is a big scam and it needs to be dealt with. The present government does not seem to see the problem or the need to change anything. The present president wants to get health insurance for people in other countries but the people in his own country can just suffer. He has no passion for them and the public is getting very tired of it. There are many who wish they had never voted for him in the first place. Our healthcare system stinks. There is not nearly the health care that is needed but the health insurance companies are getting rich on those who do have health insurance. The government medicaid system that was set up for the low income people. Those who were under the poverty guidelines and had children in the home or were disabled and were receiving SSI were qualified for Medicaid. The big problem is that the health insurance companies are not paying for nearly enough of the services needed by these people. They do not pay for some medications that are needed very badly by some people. Children and adults are suffering and the government is letting the private companies get away with the robbery. If they do not pay for certain services and medications, they can and do pocket millions more in profits.
There has to be an answer to this problem. There are millions of people suffering because they can not afford health insurance. There are millions more suffering because their medical bills are so high that they will never again see the light at the end of the tunnel. This brings up another big problem. The hospitals, doctors, and drug companies can charge whatever they please for their services and products and the government does nothing about it. Why is it that the government can step in and put a cap on utility bills so the companies do not overcharge the people but they can not control the Medical care field? There is something drastically wrong with the system and there needs to be some changes immediately. This is all going on in our country and our government is letting it happen and they still expect the people to respect them and believe in what they are doing? They are tearing this country apart right in front of our eyes.
There needs to be a health care reform and it needs to be done right away. There are people suffering because they have little or no health care. There needs to be a reform to cover every citizen in the United States and not just part of them. Many of those who do have health insurance can not afford to pay the deductibles, etc. because the premiums are eating up their paychecks.
