Health Services
There are many health services to available with a wide variety of plans to choose from. Many people do not have access to any health services because they can not afford them. There are millions of adults and children who do not have any form of health insurance so they have to suffer. Insurance premiums are just too expensive and they do not receive any government assistance for health services. Some people get their health services paid for by their employer and some pay for their services through their place of employment and their employer pays a percentage of the premiums for them. By getting the health insurance through their employer they are entitled to a group rate health insurance which will save them a lot of money. If an individual was to try to get health insurance on their own, they would have to pay outrageous health insurance premiums so since they can not afford it, they do not have health insurance. They just pray that they do not get sick or that their family does not get sick.
It is strange that the United States is said to be one of the richest countries in the world but their people are the poorest when it comes to health care. Some countries such as Canada pay for their citizens medical bills. The citizens do not have to worry about health insurance because their country takes care of them. In order for people in the United states to get help they have to be rich or on SSI., or be below poverty level with children in the home. In some cases even some of these cannot get help. Those who do not have any kids in the home or are making middle class wages can not get any help. They get lost in the cracks. There are limits as to the health care that the lower income people and their children get from the government. They have stopped paying for many of the services they used to pay for. Many people wonder where all of their tax money is going. It may be paying for all of the trips the President is taking. The present president has taken more trips than any other president we have ever had and many of them were not necessary. Just another example of our tax money going to waste.
The cost for health services is at an all time high. Just another reason people cannot afford to get help when they get sick. The medical profession charges anything they want to and the people either pay the fees or they get no service. In many cases, the patient has to pay for their health services before they receive the services.
