There are around 700 property crimes per 100,000 people in California in the year 2000 and has been on the rise ever since. There are nearly 10,000 property fires each year in California alone. If this was multiplied by the number of states in the United States the numbers will blow you away. There are other reliable security dealers and companies and it is just a matter of preference, price, and location which determines which security company the homeowner chooses. Choose a few of the top security companies in your area and do a comparison of them to decide which one you want to do business with. Price, security system quality, installation fees, customer service, warranties, and monitoring fees are some of the main points you might want to consider. You can also discuss it with friends, family, neighbors, and others before you make up your mind. Make sure you feel secure about a specific security company before you purchase the equipment or sign any contracts or agreements. Your families lives and your personal property are at stake here so you want a company you can work with and rely on to be there for you if an emergency should arise. The population in California is very large so it stands to reason the crime rate will be high there. It is up to the homeowners to do what they can to protect their property and family. There is no home or family safe anymore. It doesn’t matter if you live in a city or in the country, your home is a target for the burglar looking for drug money or money for other purposes. While the biggest percent of the burglars do not want to confront the homeowners or their families, some of them are not above hurting someone if they feel it is necessary.
