Best Home Security System What is the best home security system you can get? That may answered differently by different people depending on their status in the home security industry. Is it ADT, Brink's or another reliable company? That is a matter of opinion yet to be answered by the individual as they experience their own use of whatever home security system they have tried. There are many factors involved when determining which system is the best. The longevity and reliability of the company tells you that they are trustworthy and have reliable security equipment and service to stand behind the products. One can check with the Better Business Bureau to see if the company you are considering have had any complaints reported against them. The Better Business Bureau is a free service in which it's main goal is to protect the consumer and report any unscrupulous acts from any company which sells products whatever they may be. But just remember that just because the BBB may not have any information on a given company does not mean they are necessarily on the up and up. It just means that there have been no complaints against them at the time. Many people do not take the time to report problems they have with companies who have sold them substandard products. Word of mouth is about the best and most truthful advertising you can receive. If you have a friend, family member, or business associate who has a security system, talk to them about theirs and their experience with the equipment and the service they are receiving from the company in question. Keep digging for information from as many as you can and get the facts before you make your decision. ADT has over four million customers and Brinks' has over one million home security customers so it seems that they may be two of the most reliable. There are probably others who have not been around as long as those two that are also very dependable and reasonable in their prices. The companies you should trust will be the ones who will continue to help you and service the equipment after they sell it to you. They are willing to back their products and help you as much as you can. If there is going to be a substantial amount of money spent, you do not want it to be with a company who will run at the first phone call needing assistance. There are some very reliable security companies out there, all it takes is a little time and searching to find them. A home security system is only as good as the people who back it and to determine which one is the best depends on who sells the most reliable equipment at reasonable prices and provide the back up service afterwards for years to come.
