Drug Rehab Facility
There is a drug rehab facility within 50 miles of most people so they do not have to travel far to find one. There are thousands of drug, alcohol, and gambling treatment centers across the country. There are some in every large city and one in many of the medium sized cities. Some of the treatment centers have programs for all of the addictions and others are just for one specific addiction such as drug addiction. Some of the directories or lists of treatment centers on the internet are www.soberrecovery.com, www.theagapecenter.com, www.drugrehab.net, www.addictionnomore.com, www.usdrugrehabcenters.com, and many more. You can also get a referral from your doctor or look in the yellow pages of the local phone book. You may also have a family member or friend who knows of a treatment center near you.
Some of the drugs that people get addicted to are xanax, valium, steroids, GHB, percocet, opiates, LSD, marijuana, meth, morphine, oxycontin, heroin, hallucinogens, ecstacy, demerol, crack, cocaine, and codeine. Many of these are prescription or over the counter drugs and the Food and Drug Administration approves of them knowing full well that they are addictive and that they can harm the body. The doctors also know this yet they keep prescribing them instead of helping the patient withdraw from them and maybe prescribing something to replace them. It almost seems that they do not care for the people at all as long as they drugs are sold. Many people believe that the doctors (at least some of them) and the FDA have stock or investments in the drug companies. The FDA has no control over the all natural supplements and they work just as well as the drugs but the FDA can’t control them or make any money from them so they are trying to ban them from the market. Millions of people use the all natural supplements because they are cheaper, need no prescriptions, are safer to use, do not have any side effects, contain no drugs, and no doctors visits are needed. It seems strange that the FDA would try to get something banned that actually works for people. Some doctors even recommend supplements to their patients. All drugs have many possible side effects and some can be severe or deadly. The long term use of drugs destroys different organs in the body. Why would anyone approve of such a product that is killing people? There is many more people becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol and it has been reported that kids as young as 5 or 6 are now experimenting with them. There is going to be a need for even more rehab centers in the near future.
