Rehab Lyrics

You can find the lyrics to every one of the singing group, “Rehab’s” songs on the internet on you tube or some of the many other websites which have music information for you to see. They are based in Atlanta, Georgia and have been singing since the year 2000 and they combine rock and rap music. The entire band have helped in writing the songs and contribute by sharing their feelings and experiences in their songs. The band members include Danny Boone Alexander (vocal and MC), Mike Hartnett (guitar), Foz (guitar), Hano Leathers (bass), and Chris Hood on the drums. The album “Southern Discomfort” was their debut album and it was released in 2000. Some of the songs on the album are Crazy People, Drinkin’Problem, Hey Fred, It Don’t Matter, Kick My Ass, More Like You, Ms. Jones, Scarecrow, Sittin’ at a Bar, and Thinkin’ Again.
Their first album included guest singers Cee-Lo. Goodie Mob, and Cody Chestnut. The album sold over 140 thousand units. The group formed in the late 1990's and their first album was released in 2000. They have come a long way in a short period of time. Since they have gotten back together, they have combined their efforts and they have a more positive feeling about their songs, lives, and feelings. They made enough on the ‘Southern Discomfort” album that they formed a 2 year national tour which included the Vans Warped Tour, Kottonmouth Kings, and Linkin Park.
After a short time span of financial and personal problems, they seem to have gotten it back together. Three years ago the Rehab group split up. Then Danny, in spite of his personal or financial problems, he put together a new version of the band. They delivered “Graffiti the World”. It is a documentation of one area of life and trying to get to another area. Danny not only has his band members but he has Billy Hume, who has helped Ying Yang Twins, David Banner, Bonecrusher, and Phil Tan. Phil Tan has worked with other music artists such as Mariah Carey, Neptunes, and Snoop.
Some of the lyrics to the song Sittin’ at a Bar” are:
Bartender I really did it this time
Broke my parole to have a good time.
When I got home it was 6 a.m.
The door was locked so I kicked it in.
She was trippin’ on the bills
I think she was high on some pills.
She threw my s— out into the yard
Called me a bum and smacked me real hard
and in my drunkin’ stupor
Idid what I should of never done
Now I’m sittin’ here talking to you
drunk and on the run.
