Many supplements are being used as medications in place of prescription drugs and over the counter medications. Natural supplements are many times cheaper and much safer to use than man made medicines. There are many varieties of supplements that people use. Some of them have no side effects at all when used but some do have side effects or they will not mix with certain medications. There are vitamins and mineral supplements which help fill in when people do not eat a balanced diet each day. They will help prevent illnesses by building up your body with the nutrients it needs to fight off viruses and diseases. The natural supplements are made from all natural herbs and plants that contain no man made synthetics so there are usually no side effects. There is the possibility of taking too much of some of the supplements and this may cause side effects or serious health problems. Supplements can be a great thing if used cautiously and if you know which ones are safe and how much your body can take safely. This should be discussed with your doctor. Many doctors are beginning to recognize the significance of supplements and how much good they can do for your health. With today’s hectic schedules people are not eating right or are on the go and in a hurry so they do not take the time to eat right.
