Vitamins and Supplements


More and more people are turning to vitamins and other supplements to help them maintain a healthy balance in their body. Most people do not eat a balanced diet and their body is lacking vitamins and minerals needed to fight off diseases and to keep us strong and healthy. There are supplements and there are all natural supplements. The all natural supplements will be much better for you because they do not contain synthetics or additives which may cause health problems. The food we eat today contains many pesticides, herbicides, artificial ingredients and preservatives that are harmful to our system. We should try to get back to the basics as much as possible. That means eating organic products which contain nothing but the natural product. Fruits and vegetables, meat and fish should all be processed in a natural way or fresh from the source. There are many new farmers markets being opened across the nation and more health food stores.

The natural supplement industry is a multimillion dollar industry today because more people are realizing just how much the natural supplements can benefit us. Even more doctors are now recommending supplements to their patients. Supplements are cheaper and much safer to use than drugs. Many drugs will destroy one part of the body while helping another. This is a big problem because some people may end up taking a handful of prescription drugs because they are needed to fix what the other drugs have destroyed. It is a never ending battle until the body has had enough and the patient dies. Many elderly people are taking many prescription drugs and can not afford them because the costs keep rising and they do not have the insurance or enough insurance to cover the whole bill. Many of them are beginning to use more supplements and are making progress so they have to take less drugs.

There are supplements for overall health and others to prevent and fight off diseases or viruses or at least lessen the impact of them. There are multi vitamins for daily balance to fill in where the food we eat fails. There are individual vitamins and minerals that people can take when they need more than they are getting in the daily multi vitamins. There are supplements for the control of blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, to maintain good circulation and respiratory system, to repair liver and kidney damage or prevent damage, digestion control, and to keep hair, skin, nails, teeth, eyes, ears, and other parts of the body healthy. There is aids for prostrate problems, menopause problems, pain, and other medical problems.
