Whole Food Supplements Whole food supplements are supplements that contain nothing but whole, raw, live food with no synthetics. Whole food supplements are whole foods which have been compressed into pill form, poured into a capsule, or made into a powder. These whole food supplements have not been subjected to herbicides, pesticides or any genetically modified organisms. They have not been sterilized and do not contain any animal products that have been injected with steroids, antibiotics, or any other drugs. The whole food supplement is pure products which are about the closest thing you can get from nature without just going out and pulling that carrot, broccoli, etc. from the ground yourself. Whole food supplements should not contain any isolated minerals or other substances that it is not contained within the product naturally. Some examples of whole food supplements are carrots, broccoli, acerola cherry, kale, kelp, cauliflower, wild pansy, wheat grass, bovine liver, bovine kidney, radishes, and more. These foods contain many ingredients that are very healthy for us and contain nutrient that are a necessity for our body to stay healthy. There is nothing better for our body than the real, raw, foods that have been untouched by chemicals and additives. With the whole food supplements we are getting more nourishment that is much safer and helpful to our systems. Many companies even use capsules that are made from vegetables or some form of natural product so we are getting the purest supplements possible. There is a difference between the whole food supplements and food supplements, vitamins, multi vitamins and herbs. Whole food supplements have to be processed they are not as potent as the fresh foods you take from the garden but they are the next best thing. Even foods we buy in the grocery stores are sprayed with pesticides and herbicides so they are not good for us. There are too many products, both animal and plants, that have been sprayed, injected, or other methods, with harmful chemicals that are slowly poisoning our systems. There are artificial ingredients, processing methods, and synthetics, and drugs in products that are very harmful to us and scientists are just now realizing this. It was just recently reported that our parents and grandparents are/were healthier than the baby boomers and their children and grandchildren. It is time to get back to the basics and live a healthier life and get our kids and grandkids back on the right track. It is not just the air that is killing us, it is also the food we eat. Exercise is also important and it seems that our kids are not getting enough exercise when they are teens so they are becoming more overweight as they grow into adulthood. There used to be requirements for teens to take gym classes in high school but today they are given the option so most do not take the course. Gym and other sports could help the children stay in shape while they are young. All Text Copyright © Safety2005.org |
