Anna Nicole Smith Trimspa

Anna Nicole Smith was the spokesperson for the Trimspa weight loss pill from 2003 up until her death in February 8, 2007. Before Anna became the spokesperson for Trimspa it was reported that the company was sinking. Their sales figures had fallen for the three years before Nicole came on board. Right after Anna began as their spokesperson the sales soared. By 172%. However by 2006 the sales had again fallen and some felt that it was due to the law suits against the company and Anna for false claims about the Trimspa pill. Another problem might have been that the pill just did not work as they claimed it did.

Before Anna Nicole began as a spokesperson for Trimspa, she had her own reality show from 2002 to 2004. She portrayed an overweight rich woman who made a fool out of herself each week on public television. In 2003, she made the claim to have lost 30 pounds in just a couple of months and a total of 69 pounds in eight months. It was later discovered in an interview with Anna Nicole that she had used other aids as well in order to lose the weight. It was not known for sure if she was even taking the pill when she made the claims and commercials. These claims as well as other claims from Trimspa have spurred lawsuits in several states.

Some reports are claiming that their guess it that these events and Anna’s death may be the end of the Trimspa company. They feel their sales will plummet to the bottom and there is no way to know if they can climb out of the pit. The Trimspa weight loss pill can be purchased without a prescription but there are several ingredients that are kept secret and the amount of each ingredient listed on the label of the bottles are unknown. The Tribspa claims that this is to prevent someone from stealing their formula. Even though the Trimspa weight loss pill is claimed to be made from all natural ingredients, there are some reported side effects. These are chest pain, swelling and blocking of the throat, anxiety, insomnia, palpitations, restlessness, or choking if not enough liquid is taken with the pill. Some weight loss pills suggest that you drink a full glass of water with each pill. Other possible side effects are vomiting, if you are allergic to shellfish, or taking a coagulant, or are sensitive to caffeine, you should not take the pill, or at least take less of it. If you experience side effects, contact your doctor as soon as possible.
