Anna Nicole Smith and Trimspa

Anna Nicole Smith and Trimspa have been in the news a lot lately. The death of Anna Nicole was a shock to the nation because it happened so suddenly. Anna Nicole passed away on February 8, 2007. She was spokesperson for the Trimspa company since 2003 and up until her death. Before Anna become the spokesperson for the company, Trimspa was losing ground financially because of the lack of sales. After Trimspa heard the statement made by Anna Nicole that she had lost 69 pounds in 8 months because she was taking Trimspa weight loss pills. She became their spokesperson and was seen in commercials and ad campaigns. The Trimspa sales soared because of these commercials and her testimonial. The unique marketing strategies gained more strength for the company. For the past three years the Trimspa sales have been falling off again and the death of Anna Nicole may hurt the Company even more. There have been lawsuits and complaints pouring in about the company and its products. They are accused of false advertising and not having the scientific proof to back their statements about their products. It is thought that without the great marketing and Anna Nicole, the company would not have lasted as long as it has. There are still law suits pending and even Anna Nicole’s name is included in them. She was their spokesperson so the information she passed on was false. She even made the statement that she had taken other aids along with the Trimspa weight loss pills in order to lose that 69 pounds in 8 months. So it can not be determined just how much the Trimspa even helped her lose weight. There are many people who have made the comments that they did not lose any weight or if they did it was very little. Some even claimed they gained the weight back plus some after they stopped taking it.

There is a lot of negativity about Trimspa products right now and some are wondering if the company will be able to survive the lawsuits, and complaints. The reported side effects of the Trimspa weight loss pills are nausea, vomiting, heart palpitations, chest pains, anxiety, jitters, allergic reactions to shellfish, swelling of the throat or esophagus which could cause choking if there is not enough water taken with the pill, trouble swallowing, trouble breathing, sensitivity to caffeine, migraines, chromium toxicity, increased blood glucose, and insomnia. There may be other side effects not yet reported. If you are taking the Trimspa weight loss pill and experience any serious side effects, stop taking it and contact your doctor as soon as possible.
