Expected Results Trim Spa The expected results from using the Trim spa diet pill may not be what the actual results end up being. Some people get high hopes when they see someone lose weight or hear about the great results some people experience. Their own results may not be the same as others. Different weight loss pills work differently on everyone because of the way the body reacts to the pills and the ingredients in the pills. Some people can not take the Trimspa diet pills because of the ingredients and existing medical problems and/or certain medications they are taking. No one who is taking anticoagulants should take this pill. Those who are allergic to shellfish should not take the diet pill. Other possible side effects are swelling of the throat or esophagus which may cause choking if not enough water is taken with the pill. Some may experience trouble breathing, trouble swallowing, insomnia, chest pains, knee, elbow, and wrist pains, pain in the lower abdomen or stomach ache, vomiting, chromium toxicity, increased blood glucose, jitters, anxiety, migraines, heart palpitations, and sensitivity to caffeine. Most diet pills require at least 8 ounces of water with each dose. It is recommended that the pills are taken before a meal, usually 30 minutes to an hour. The Trimspa company list some of the ingredients of their diet pills on the bottles of pills but they do not tell how much of each is in the pills and they also keep a few ingredients a secret. They do claim that the ingredients are all natural. They used to have ephedra as one of their ingredients until it was banned in the United States so they replaced ephedra with hoodia gordonii which is an herb found in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa. It has no known side effects and works well alone as a diet aid. The Trimspa company was having a difficult time financially because of low sales volume before Anna Nicole Smith became their spokesperson in 2003 after she made the claim to have lost 69 pounds in 8 months while taking the Trimspa diet pill. The company sales increased considerably for several years until the lawsuits and complaints began to surface. For the past 3 years the company have again suffered from lack of sales. The company was fined $1.5 million by the Federal Trade Commission for false advertising. The company agreed to pay the fine so the FTC would stop their investigation that had been going on for two years. Some feel that the company may be on its way out. Some lawsuits have been settled and others are still pending. All Text Copyright © Safety2005.org |
