Trim Spa Law Suit

Trim spa has been involved with more than one law suit in the past three years. Their sales have dropped tremendously and some feel that they are headed for self destruction. The lawsuits are claims that the company made false statements and they are accused of false advertising. They do not have the scientific proof to back up their statements of what the Trimspa pills can do for you. There have been many negative reviews about the products. There are a few positive reviews on the Trimspa website. Customers who tried Trimspa claimed that the pills did nothing for them or they lost a few pounds and gained them all back plus some after they stopped taking the pills. Many people reported side effects that kept them from taking the pills long enough to see if they would work. There are many reported side effects and some cannot take Trimspa because of existing health problems or taking certain medications. You should discuss the use of this weight loss pill with your doctor before you try it. The side effects include nausea, vomiting, migraines, heart palpitations, jitters, chest pains, swelling of the throat or esophagus which could cause choking if enough water was not taken with the pill, trouble breathing, trouble swallowing, allergic reaction to shellfish, sensitivity to caffeine, chromium toxicity, insomnia, increased blood glucose, and anxiety. There may be other side effects that have yet to be reported. If you are taking anticoagulants, you should not take Trimspa. Trimspa used to have ephedra as one of their ingredients until it was banned in the United States and since then Hoodia Gordonii was the replacement for it. Since Trimspa is not safe for many to use, the pure Hoodia Gordonii products might be better to use. It is safer and it has no known side effects. It is one of the most sought after weight loss products on the market. There are many fake products claiming to be Hoodia Gordonii so make sure you are getting the real Hoodia if you decide to give it a try.

Anna Nicole Smith was also named in the law suits against the Trimspa company. As their spokesperson from 2003 until her death on February 8, 2007 she was in commercials and ad campaigns for Trimspa weight loss products. Anna made the statement about losing 69 pounds in 8 months and when Trimspa heard about it, they hired her on as their spokesperson. She helped the sales for the weight loss pills increase drastically. Before she became their spokesperson, Trimspa was hurting financially and was going in a downward spiral fast. With the clever commercials and ad campaigns she was in the sales began to soar. This was a new beginning for them until the lawsuits and complaints started surfacing. The Federal Trade Commission fined the Trimspa Marketers $1.5 million dollars for making false statements and false advertising with no scientific data to back up their statements about what Trimspa pills could do.
