Trim Spa Rating Trim spa weight loss pills had a high rating in weight loss products on the market until the lawsuits and complaints began flowing in and then the death of Anna Nicole Smith on February 8, 2007, Trimspa’s spokesperson since 2003. The company has been bombarded with lawsuits and complaints about false advertising and false statements about what all the diet pills could do for you. The company does not have any scientific proof to back up their statements. Anna Nicole Smith became their spokesperson in 2003 after she claimed to have lost 69 pounds in 8 months while taking Trimspa weight loss pills. She helped a financially burdened company crawl back up and helped their sale increase for several years. But for the past three years the sales of the products have again began to plummet because of the lawsuits and complaints. Some feel that the company would not have survived this long if it had not been for the unique advertising and marketing strategies. It has been stated that Anna Nicole was their lifeline and was partly responsible for pulling Trimspa out of the hole they were in when she joined the company. It is also believed that now that Anna Nicole is gone that the company will not be around much longer. The Trimspa company had ephedra as one of the ingredients in their pills until the United States banned it from the country. Trimspa then replaced the ephedra with hoodia gordonii which can stand alone in weight loss. The other ingredients that are in Trimspa are chromium glucomannan, cocoa extract, green tea extract, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, glucosamine, HCL, citrus naringin, and vanadium. They will not tell how much of each ingredient is in each pill and it also has several ingredients that they will not disclose because they claim they do not want their formula stolen. The pills also contain food dyes and additives. There have been many complaints about the pills not working and not helping the way that the Trimspa marketers claimed they did. Anna Nicole even made a statement that she was also taking other aids to help while she was taking Trimspa to lose weight. It is not known just how much the Trimspa helped her after all. Many people say the pills did not help them at all and others claimed they lost a few pounds but immediately gained them back plus some after they stopped taking the pills. There were many side effects reported. People with certain medical problems and/or taking certain medications can not take the diet pills safely. It is just a matter of time before we know what is to become of the company. There are still lawsuits pending so the company may not survive this time. All Text Copyright © Safety2005.org |
