Trimspa Case
The Trimspa weight loss company has more than one case or lawsuit pending against them. Many people claim they tried the Trimspa diet pill and it does not work as the company says it will. The future of the Trimspa company is not looking good. Their sales have been dropping for the past three years and lawsuits and complaints are surfacing against the company and Anna Nicole Smith. Anna Nicole was their spokesperson from October 2003 until her sudden death on February 8, 2007. It is not known if she was still taking Trimspa pills at the time of her death. Anna Nicole became the spokesperson for the company after she made the comment that she had lost 69 pounds in about 8 months while taking the Trimspa diet pill. For about two years the sales of the pills increased tremendously then they began to fall again and for the past three years have continued to fall. Anna made the comment to reporters that she took something else to help her lose weight while she was taking Trimspa. It cannot be determined if the Trimspa actually helped her at all. Many people who tried the diet pills claim the pills did nothing for them. Some say they tried the Trimspa pills and lost a few pounds but gained them all back plus more after they stopped taking the pills. Some reported they experienced nothing. The pills are supposed to suppress the appetite and other positive qualities but did not work for them. The Trimspa company and Anna Nicole Smith were named in lawsuits and allegations of false statements they made to sell the product. People claim that the advertisements about the diet pills were very misleading. There is a class action lawsuit still pending. Anna Nicole Smith was named in the lawsuit first because she was the spokesperson for the company. Some people feel that the company does not have much of a future and it is just a matter of time before they close or file for bankruptcy.
The Trimspa weight loss pill has some of its ingredients listed on the labels on each bottle of pills but it does not state the amount of each ingredient in the pill. They claim it is to prevent someone from stealing their formula. They also have several ingredients they are keeping a secret. It can not be established if the pills are safe to use and what side effects they may cause for some or how dangerous they may be for some. Not knowing what the other ingredients are can be dangerous for some. The company claims the ingredients are all natural but there have been many reported side effects from them.
