Trimspa Diet Pill

Much of the popularity of the Trimspa diet pill was due to the marketing and ad campaigns that Anna Nicole Smith took part in before her death on February 8, 2007. Anna Nicole was hired as Trimspa’s spokesperson in 2003 after she had made the statement that she lost 69 pounds in 8 months while taking Trimspa. She was the company spokesperson up until her death but it was not known if she was still taking the Trimspa diet pill. Before Anna began working for Trimspa the company was in a financial bind because of the lack of sales. Their sales had dropped to the point that some felt the company would go under. After Anna Nicole began working for them as their spokesperson in their commercials and ad campaigns the sales soared for a while and the company again had hope. Then came the beginning of lawsuits and complaints. The company was accused of false advertising and making statements that they did not have the scientific proof to back it up. Anna Nicole also made the statement that she was taking other aids to lose weight at the same time that she was taking Trimspa. She was also named in some of the lawsuits. The Federal Trade Commission fined them $1.5 million and the Marketers of Trimspa agreed to pay it on January 4, 2007. They claimed that just because they paid it was not an admission to guilt. The past three years the Trimspa sales have again plummeted and some feel that it may be the end of Trimspa this time. There are still lawsuits pending and some feel the death of Anna Nicole will also have an impact on the company. Many people can not take the weight loss pills because of health issues, taking certain medications or because of the many side effects it causes. Some claim that the pills did little or nothing for them. Some reported that they lost some weight but gained it all back as soon as they stopped taking it.

Trimspa had ephedra as one of their ingredients until the United states banned it in this country. Trimspa then added Hoodia Gordonii to their mix in the Trimspa weight loss pills. The company labels some of their ingredients on the labels of the bottles but they do not tell how much of each ingredient is in each pill. They also do not list all of the ingredients. They are keeping several ingredients a secret. Their reason for this is, they say, because they do not want someone to steal their formula. One would think that with all the problems they are facing because of the pills that no one would want to steal the formula. Why steal someone else’s trouble.
