Trimspa Diet Pills Trimspa diet pills were once in the top ten list of weight loss products but it is unlikely that they are still there. The pills have caused many side effects and many people had to stop taking the pills because of one or more side effects. Others could not take the diet pills because of existing health problems and/or taking certain medications which would not mix well with the Trimspa diet pills. If you are thinking about taking the Trimspa diet pill it might be to your advantage and safety to research Trimspa and find out about the problems the company is facing ans make a decision after you have found out what others are saying about the diet pills. There are a few positive reviews on the Trimspa website but there are many more negative reviews elsewhere on the internet. There are a few people who have claimed to have lost weight while taking the Trimspa pills. One person lost 44 pounds in 3 months, another lost 12 pounds in 2 months, and still another lost 30 pounds in 3 months. There are many who claimed the Trimspa pill did nothing for them and they lost no weight. Some claimed they lost a few pounds and then gained them back plus more after they stopped taking the pills. The Trimspa company was hurting financially because of the lack of sales in 2003 when they learned that Anna Nicole Smith claimed she lost 69 pounds in about 8 months while she was taking the Trimspa diet pills. Trimspa hired Anna Nicole as their spokesperson and she was still their spokesperson until her death on February 8, 2007. For about two years the Trimspa sales increased tremendously and some felt that it was because Anna Nicole was in the Trimspa commercials and banner ad campaigns. Then in the past three years the sales began to fall again. Lawsuits against Anna Nicole and Trimspa began to surface and it is thought that the bad publicity and lawsuits are the reason for the drastic decline in sales. It was also learned that Anna Nicole actually took other aids to help her lose weight too at the same time she was taking the Trimspa diet pills. The Federal Trade Commission has fined the Trimspa company $1.5 million for false advertising and making statements about the diet pills that they did not have scientific proof to back it up. Trimspa agreed to pay the fine on January 4, 2007 but claimed that it was not an admission of guilt. It was so the FTC would drop their investigation which had already lasted about two years.
