Weight Loss Challenge


Weight Loss Challenge and The Biggest Loser are two different games for overweight people to enter to see who can lose the most weight with the weight loss program presented to them. They could be called serious games because they all want to lose weight and to compete against others wanting to lose weight also makes it more fun to diet. The contenders have to eat what they are told, exercise and live to lose weight. Each week they weight in to see who has lost the most pounds. The contests can be very enlightening but they can also be quite a challenge because they may not turn out to be as easy as some thinks it is. Some may not get to the end of the contest. Some give up before they make it to the end.

No matter if you are playing a game or challenge to lose weight, it is still a serious event. You have to be ready to lose weight and be serious about it because if you are not ready, you will give up and quit before you reach your goal. It takes a lot of will power to begin a diet and really stick it out until you reach your goal. Even after you have reached your desired weight, you have to continue to eat right and exercise if you can. Many people gain the weight all back plus more after they stopped their diet because they fell back into the same old rut of eating too much and eating a lot of sweets and fatty foods. You can cheat once in a while and eat that piece of cake. But stop at one, do not get carried away and eat till you bust. Even if you eat all of the ordinary foods and do not change the type of foods you eat, if you just eat smaller portions you can still lose weight. If you can exercise along with watching what and how much you eat, you will lose weight much quicker and also lose more. If you lose the weight over a long period of time, it is more likely to stay off than when you lose it all at once. Crash diets are not healthy for anyone and they also more than likely will fail in the end. It is not so much what you eat, it is how much and how you prepare it. Many people have successfully lost weight by just changing their cooking methods. Instead of soaking everything in grease, they are baking, broiling, or grilling their foods.
